(HAIHACO) – Over the past few days, various media outlets have reported on numerous street vendors in Hanoi selling unsold mooncakes without labels, branding, or assurance of food safety and hygiene. Alarmingly, to boost the credibility of their products, these vendors often promote and display the names of reputable mooncake brands, including HaiHaCo, to mislead consumers.

As a responsible enterprise, HaiHaCo is committed to delivering the highest-quality products that protect consumer health and contribute to a better society. Therefore, HaiHaCo strictly affirms that it has no policy of selling mooncakes beyond September 19, 2013, across its entire official distribution system.

All HaiHa mooncake products, produced in accordance with Ministry of Health standards, have a maximum shelf life of one month and fifteen days. Accordingly, in the interest of public health, HaiHaCo strongly advises consumers not to purchase or consume mooncake products that lack clear origin, labeling, and traceability—especially those sold after September 19, 2013.

HaiHaCo also requests that all parties involved in the informal street sale of mooncakes immediately cease using the HaiHa brand name to promote or facilitate the sale of their products in any form.
